IB Diploma Requirements
- There is no “N” awarded in any subject. This is when a student does not complete a
required assessment piece - either the internal assessment requirements, a submitted external assessment piece, or fails to sit one of the examinations.
- There is no grade 1 awarded in a subject/level.
- There are no more than two grade 2s awarded.
- There are no more than three grade 3s or below awarded.
- The candidate has gained 12 points or more on HL subjects.
- The candidate has gained 9 points or more on SL subjects.
- There is no grade E awarded for TOK and/or the EE.
- CAS requirements have been met.
- The candidate has not received a penalty for academic misconduct from the Final Award
Committee.
Diploma Examination Costs
For May 2019, costs were:
- RMB1000 for registration
- RMB750 per subject
A student studying the full Diploma: RMB5500 These costs are not included in the SCIS fees A fapiao cannot be issued for the Diploma fees Registration and payment is made in October of Grade 12
