ATTITUDE AND DISCIPLINE Successful families, organizations, and football teams are highly disciplined groups. In our discipline, attitudes are more important than rules. West Jeff Football is not watered down. You get exactly what you put into it. We expect you to conduct yourself in a manner that will enhance the image of our football

  • program. You must set high standards for yourself and your teammates because you are part of a special
  • group. You must be proud to be part of the football program. With this pride comes certain

responsibilities.

  • 1. Do not engage in any act or activities which may be detrimental to the reputation of our

football team or yourself.

  • 2. No smoking, drinking, tobacco, or drugs! This is a detriment which will be dealt with

according to the West Jeff Athletic Code of Conduct.

  • 3. NO DISRESPECT! If you feel you were treated unjustly, meet with your position coach and

me after practice.

  • 4. Absence and tardiness will not be tolerated. You must be present to learn how to play the

Rider way. EXCUSED ABSENCE – 1 absence - Will result in 10 extra 40 yard sprints and the possibility of not starting that particular week. 2 absences – Will result in 20 extra 40 yard sprints and the player will not start that particular week. 3 absences – Will result in 30 extra 40 yard sprints and the player will not dress that particular week. *This will be handled on a weekly basis* UNEXCUSED ABSENCE – 1 absence – Will result in 20 extra 40 yard sprints and the player will not start that particular week. 2 absences – Will result in 30 extra 40 yard sprints and the and the player will not dress that particular week. 3 absences – Dismissal from team *This will be handled on a yearly basis* *This will also apply to 6:30 a.m. scouting reports on Monday Morning
