- Uses a simple exercise that requires respondents to make a more critical assessment of attribute
importance than do traditional importance measures

Instead of rating each attribute individually, respondents see several at one time based on a Latin Square (balanced order and pairing) design;

Additionally, each attribute is exposed and reacted to three times which provides a more robust evaluation than a one-time assessment; In this study, we also used an anchored Max Diff approach. Respondents were also asked for each group of statements, whether:

All of them were important
–
None of them were important
–
Some were important, some were not
