HISTORY

In 1995 Isabelle Qian Wei Ming was the manager of one of the leading clothing companies established in China. Subequently she resolved to start her own business and set up a fashion design company specializing in the creation and production of knitwear collections

Tie encounter with Michael Haerens resulted into the establishment of Pacifjc Union Group. Progressively broadening its professional scope and performance the company expanded as much as to record a 20% yearly turnover growth. During these years Pacifjc Union Group started collaborations with many difgerent factories, where quality control (Q.C.) of production is guaranteed by a team of Italian managers and technicians working together. Pacifjc Union’s Q.C. system is based on the Italian system; ac- cordingly, woven’s style manager in Shangahi is italian. Quality for us begins with the selection and purchase of raw materials, operations in which the customer is always involved. Our suppliers list is fjlled with factories directly controlled by Pacifjc Union Group, or where we own dedicated production lines. In 2013 we’re planning to open a specifjc offjce in Shanghai to help our customers with Q.C. before shipments and with the logistics of the goods. Afuer 10 year of operation the head offjces of the Group are still based on Shanghai but, dur- ing this timeframe, the company has further reinforced its positioning by opening offjces

• n the Italian, Spanish and French markets fully dedicated to Customer care and technical
• Service. Michael Haerens deals directly with the countries that don’t have established offjces.

New offjce developments are foreseen in Japan, South Africa, Northern Europe, Australia and USA.

PRODUCTS

Tie Pacifjc Union Group manages design, sampling and bulk production of: Tricot Knitwear - All gauges on hand knitting machines, hand knitted items, computer knit- ted items; in addition it manages all kind of washings, prints, deyings and embroidery techniques. Jersey Knits - From T-shirt to cotton fmeece items, with all kind of fashion fjnished and wash- ings. Woven jackets - Down or polyester fjlled; windbreakers; funtional jackets, seam taped jack- ets, leather jackets, and all sort of overcoats. All kind of accessories - Bags, belt, hats, caps, slippers, swimsuits, packagings & more.

SERVICE

Pacifjc Union Group relies on a team of designers striving to meet the clients' needs in the fashion market at their best and developing graphic projects destined to the creation of quilted jackets, skirts, pullovers, underwear and premium accessories. Tie key business goal of the company resides with providing end customers with an excel- lent consulting service, while fostering business opportunities between the European and the Eastern market. Tie consulting activities carried out by Pacifjc Union Group can be summed up as follows:

• fgering clients the most appropriate solutions aimed at improving the perception of

their products. Such activities include merchandising, defjnition of product's technical spec- ifjcations, pricing, identifjcation and defjnition of market-related projects, activity planning, support to styling centre and product management offjce, follow-up of production activities. In Shanghai there is a team of Italian managers and technicians working together with choosen Chinese stafg, technicians and Q.CS. to assure a continuous quality, fashion update and design.
