  3. Constitution Additions/ Modifications: General • Presidents/Treasurers required to be on the listserv • Representative of multiple orgs • New potential Arch-E Week Coordinator • New election procedures • Member of National Association of Engineers’ Student Councils (NAESC)

Constitution Additions/ Modifications: Fund Requests • Good standing with CoE by 3rd meeting of academic year • Violation of attendance rule • Verifying attendance with Secretary • Presentation of annual budget, max hours, and $/hour by 3rd meeting • Submission of Fund Request Presentation at meeting prior to Fund Request meeting • Verification of use of E-Council Funds • Creation of Funding Request Committee

  5. Constitution Ratification • Each organization will receive 1 ballot

  6. Dean’s Address to Presidents • Date: Monday, September 22nd • Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm • 30 signed up as of now • Formal address by Dean Williams and Associate Dean Tomasko • Time for Presidents to share what their orgs have been doing and plans for the upcoming year • Food and drinks provided

Engineering Expo • Date: Wednesday, September 24th – Time: 11:00am - 4:00pm – Location: Ohio Union • Program Sales: 9/18, 9/19, 9/22 & 9/23 9am-4pm, outside of ECS – Mandatory Training : Sept. 18th from 8-9pm – Payments Program Sales: E-Council hours Expo Volunteering: $30/volunteer/ hr Training: Unpaid If a volunteer misses their time slot, then they will NOT be paid!!!

OHI/O: The Second Annual OSU Hackathon • What: 36 hour coding extravaganza where participants from all over come to Ohio State to write an app (from scratch) and demo it • Hosted By: Open Source Club • Deadline: Friday, September 26th at 5 pm Volunteer Times October 3, 2014 @ 18th Avenue Library 6:00pm-8:00pm (5 volunteers) 8:00pm-10:00pm (4 volunteers) October 4, 2014 @ 18th Avenue Library 11:30am-1:30pm (4 volunteers) 5:30pm-7:30pm (4 volunteers) October 5, 2014 @ Ohio Union Performance Hall 2:30-4:30 (8 volunteers (cleanup shift))

  9. Math Tutor Volunteering Opportunity • What: Tutoring for special version of Math 2415 (Differential Equations) taught by Professor Baker. You would staff a room in the Math Stats Learning Center. • Requirements: Must have taken 2415 with Professor Baker and only Professor Baker. • Volunteer Times: Weekly, 5-7 pm Monday-Thursday • Contact Professor Ulrich Gerlach.1 with any questions

  10. SWE/WiE/EA Cooking Competition • When: September 19 th , 2014 from 7 pm- 10 pm • Where: Buffalo Wild Wings, High and Lane • Who: All are welcome • What: Cooking Competition. Come try some food and meet the Dean of the College of Engineering. • Cost: Free • Other: Funds will be used to support MAD (Males as Advocates for Diversity).

Marathon Petroleum Info Session • When: September 22 nd , 2014 at 7pm • Where: Mendenhall 291 • Who: All are welcome • What: Marathon Petroleum Company will be hosting an info session prior to the Career Fair for all interested students to listen to their presentation, ask questions, resume critiques, and to meet the Marathon team. • Cost: Free • Other: Hosted by the Buckeye Shale Energy Organization. SWE/IIE Networking Night • When: September 23 rd , 2014 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, the evening prior to the Engineering Expo • Where: Great Hall Meeting Rooms in the Union • Who: All are welcome • What: An evening of networking with company representatives , prior to the career fair. • Cost: Free • Other: Attire is business casual. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.

Battleship for Habitat • When: October 4 th , 2014 at 4:30 pm • Where: Class pool, McCorkle Aquatic Pavillion • Who: All are welcome • What: Triangle Fraternity’s new annual philanthropy event, a charity Battleship tournament. Battleship is a pool game in which teams in canoes win by sinking the opposing teams’ canoes with buckets of water. • Cost: $30 per team of 4, plus an additional $5 for extra team members • Other: Be sure to show up early and rsvp to kay. 110@osu.edu

BSEO 4 th Annual Networking Event • When: October 14 th , 2014 at 1:00 – 4:00 pm • Where: The Cartoon Room at the Ohio Union • Who: All are welcome • What: Networking event for students at Ohio State to meet and interact with leading companies in the Oil & Gas Industry. Food will be provided. • Cost: $30 per team of 4, plus an additional $5 for extra team members • Other: Hosted by the Buckeye Shale Energy Organization.
