  4. • The Board is responsible for deciding the most appropriate pupil accommodation arrangements for the delivery of its elementary and secondary programs • These decision are made by the Board of Trustees to further its primary responsibility that aligns with the guiding principles of fostering student academic achievement and well-being, and ensuring effective stewardship of the resources of the Board, including the Board’s financial viability and sustainability. • In some cases, the Board of Trustees must consider pupil accommodation reviews, that may lead to future school consolidations and closures. Process: Pupil Accommodation Review Pupil Accommodation Review Process - School Consolidations & Closures Under Operating Policy I-09 and Administrative Procedure VI-35: School Consolidation/Closures , the following must be completed as part of a full Pupil Accommodation Review (PAR). Note: Those with an asterisks are additional to the Policy and Procedure. Present an Initial Staff Report with School Information Profiles (SIPs) Establish an Accommodation Review Committee (ARC) Hold ARC Orientation Session Hold ARC Working Meetings (x4) Hold Catholic School Council (CSC) Meetings - Open Mic forum * Hold Staff Meetings * Hold Open House Public Meetings (x2) Present Interim Staff Report with Open House Feedback Hold Delegations to the Board 10. ARC will be comprised of the following: • Two (2) parent representatives from each school within the Oakville Northeast Pupil Accommodation Review (Holy Trinity Family of Schools). • Affected Family of Schools Superintendents • Such other persons appointed by the Director of Education • Superintendent of Facility Management Services • Administrator of Planning Services What is the Membership of the ARC? As per Section 1.3 of Administrative Procedure VI-35 , the membership of the Core Members: Core Resources Members: Page 8

The finding of the sub-committee could be presented to the ARC to inform them of the logistics of the Home School Parish partnership in the final school accommodation plan.   10. • Official conduit of information to their community and constituents. • Tasked with reviewing the Initial Staff Report and School Information Profiles. • Tasked with reviewing and discussing the options presented by Staff. • Where applicable, have the option to present additional accommodation options supported with rationale, for consideration by the Chair of the ARC. • Tasked with reviewing all community feedback gathered through community consultations, and providing feedback. • Expected to attend the orientation session • Expected to attend working meetings • Where possible, attend community consultations What is the Role of the ARC?   11. • We expect the Ministry to circulate Round #3 of 4 of the School Consolidation Capital • In December of 2015, the Ministry of Education circulated Memorandum 2015: B16 (SCC) memorandum in December, 2016, with a late March, 2017, deadline for PAR decisions. • If the Board is not successful in the upcoming School Capital Consolidation round, staff will • If the Board is funded under the 2017 Capital Priorities Funding, the opening date will be pushed back by one (1) year. • The proposed transition plan will not be initiated until such a time the project is approved to proceed and fully funded.
