• Only a handful of net zero buildings in the country
• Small number of design professionals who are

technically equipped

• Lack of awareness emerged
• Dearth of information
• High cost of solar and building integration
• Net metering and feed-in tariff still nascent
• No clear policies on NZEBs
• No institutional and regulatory mechanisms.
• Limited interaction between the government, design
