Section 2: Options for Consideration & Primary Recommendation

The committee voted to only recommend Option 1 (construct a swimming pool- either 6 or 8 lane at either the Junior High or C-NS) for Board

  • f Education consideration as

both feasible and desirable. Even more specifically, the committee encourages the Board to give serious consideration to a proposition for an 8-lane, 25- yard pool located at C-NS.

  • 1. The Board should study the report and related documents

then consider the options (with advantages and disadvantages) the committee is recommending

  • 2. Either the full Board or a sub-committee of the Board

should conduct a public hearing on the options under consideration

  • 3. Lastly, the Board should select an option that it believes is

in the best interest of the community and school district and develop a plan for moving forward to implement the
