DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION BUDGET
Downtown Revitalization Funds - $100,000
1. CSJ must distribute or spend funds by December 30, 2020 2. If funds are expended through a third party (such as a grant), the third party must ABSOLUTELY expend the money by December 30, 2020 And it applies to the waterfall. So we can’t give a grant to SBDC to do small business grants, then they issue the grants in January. Or they issue grants in December that are forward looking. 3. Money needs to be spent for COVID19-related assistance occurring between March and December 2020 4. Money can be spent to cover back business expenses – rent, utilities, e,.tc. so long as it’s between 3/1-12/30/20. 5. Funds cannot “pre-pay” for any services that will be carried out after December 30, 2020
