All kindergartens and schools in Ljubljana. School year 2013/2014. 105 kindergartens 13,259 children 54 elementary schools 21,084 pupils Lday 55 dB(A) was exceeded at all facades at one kindergarten. Lday 55 dB(A) was exceeded at least at one facade at 48 kindergartens and 29 elementary schools 48 kindergartens 5,946 children (44,8 % of all children in kindergartens) 29 elementary schools 11,925 pupils (56,5 % of all pupils in elementary schools) Lday 65 dB(A) was exceeded at least at one facade at 8 kindergartens and 4 elementary schools 8 kindergartens 1,070 children (8% of all children in kindergartens) 4 elementary schools 1,773 pupils (8,4 % of all pupils in elementary schools) It is recommended that noise measurements are carried out in those premises and provide mitigation measures to reduce the noise at these buildings.
