 Naviguide is a European Project, funded by the Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation Programme  Partners: ◦ Austria: Abif & AMS- Scientific Research and Development & Austrian PES ◦ Croatia: Algebra- Adult Education Provider ◦ France : Itineraires Formation- Guidance, Counselling & Information Services ◦ Ireland: Ballymun Job Centre- Placement, Guidance, Training, & Information Services ◦ Poland : Academy of Management- Tertiary & Higher Education Institute ◦ Turkey : Kar-der- Career Counselling & Human Resource Development

 The aim is to transfer and expand an existing Austrian guidance methods database, owned by the Austrian Public Employment Agency AMS, into the European guidance system  The database consists of more than 400 teaching units (methods) for guidance in group settings  The overall objective is to increase the quality and effectiveness of vocational counselling & therefore support the employability of target groups at risk.  This will be achieved through the transfer of the guidance methods database to career counsellors who will use the teaching units in their everyday practice  Six, 1-day train-the-trainer/teacher workshops will take place in each partner country In total, NAVIGUIDE will reach 720 guidance practitioners & stakeholders.

 A guidance methods database as a common knowledge base for European career counsellors  The methods database will be available in the different languages of the partner countries & will provide 24/7 free of charge, ready- to-use teaching units and detailed teaching descriptions & handouts  A CD-ROM with 100 guidance methods  A methods guidance handbook
