Restrict Parking to one-side on Germain, Latham, and Hoover from 1. December 1 to April 1 Continue data collection efforts 2.

Additional Considerations Staff recommends the following additional considerations to the Narrow Streets policies and procedures: Representatives of DPW’s Traffic Division and Engineering Division shall 1. review any and all projects for Narrow Streets. If snow removal and storage is an issue on a narrow street, consider 2. snow storage locations, and whether temporary parking restrictions for snow plowing or storage will be required. Geometric and topographic issues should be a consideration when 3. evaluating each Narrow Street.

  5. City Approach Acknowledge challenge of balancing needs. 1. Incremental approach allows us to learn and adjust as we move 2. forward. DPW addressed the most constrained narrow streets (<10’ effective 3. travel width) in November 2018. DPW now evaluating the most challenging Narrow Streets with 10’ of 4. effective travel width. Additional data collection efforts. 5.
