clerks and record caretakers that document events in our communities

  • To offer career development goals in a subject area critical to their

profession

  • To foster professional networking between NAGARA, state archives,
  • ther government associations and individual record caretakers

NAGARA

CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Membership in NAGARA is not required.
  • 40 hours of study
  • A minimum of 1.5 hours in 8 of 11 Core Competency areas.
  • A state‐specific workshop on public records and meeting laws.
  • Coursework must be completed within five years of application.
  • $10 application fee.
