Control mosquitoes in your area What can you do to help?

Hundreds of mosquito eggs can grow in as little as a standing cup of water

  • Get rid of litter and used tyres.
  • Keep gutters and flat roofs clear.
  • Change bird bath water once a week.
  • Check the lid on your rain water butt.
  • Turn over containers you aren’t using.
  • Keep fish in your garden pond.
  • Arrange tarpaulin so water can run off.

Mosquitoes need stagnant water to survive. The best way to prevent mosquitoes from breeding is to remove stagnant water.
