<project space> Lost Levels v.2010 </ project space>
Lost Levels v.2010 features multiple artist re-interpretations of Cory Arcangel’s infamous Super Mario Bros. Clouds (2002). Arcangel is known for hacking the video game by taking apart the cartridge and replacing a chip with one that he modifjed. The outcome was presented in single-channel projection revealing only the roaming white clouds on a blue sky. The artists in this project counteracted Cory’s hack with their own re-hack of the “clouds” concept. Lost Levels v.2010 was presented alongside MetaDataPhile and was exhibited in the gallery’s project space.
