1. Set up a quiet, well lit place without inappropriate items in the background. a. Clear desk b. Comfortable, supportive chair c. Adequate supplies d. Dress appropriately for learning 2. Set up a calendar, schedule, or priority list. 3. Make sure that your child is getting a full night’s sleep, so they can wake up on time. It’s important that your child gets to school
4. Minimize screen time outside of school hours. Be consistent. “Tough love” is sometimes necessary until poor habits become good habits. Helping your student with organization is as important as helping them complete an assignment!
