Background of ICC

  • SEAMEO Secretariat has officially encouraged SEAMEO Regional

Centres to synergise their resources through ICC since 2015.

  • SEAMEO

Council approved by referendum to support ICC programmes led by SEAMEO Centres under the education agenda.

  • The amount of fund should not exceed USD10,000 per agenda in a

Fiscal Year.

ICC Grant Criteria

The eligible ICC programmes for FY2019/2020 need to qualify based on these criteria:

  • 1. Regional in

nature with 6 or more participating Member Countries

  • 2. Undertaken

collaboratively by at least 3 SEAMEO Centres

  • 4. 4. At least

50% co- funded by partners/ Centres

  • 3. High impact in

terms of scale, sustainability, replicability

  • 5. Aligned with

SEAMEO Education Agenda

Proposed Revised Criteria

  • ICC programmes can be undertaken with 6 or more participating Member Countries;
  • ICC programmes must be undertaken collaboratively by at least 3 SEAMEO Centres and

Network;

  • The lead SEAMEO Centre and Network must ensure that the proposed ICC programmes

have high impact in terms of scale, sustainability (with at least 2 years programme), replicability;

  • The ICC programme must at least have 50% co-funding from the lead centre and/or its

partners; and

  • The ICC programmes must be aligned with the SEAMEO Education Agenda 2015-2035/ 7

  • The lead SEAMEO Centre and Network needs to invite Associate Members in at least
  • ne activity in the project’s initial stage;
  • The lead SEAMEO Centre and Network must provide financial and progress/impact

report(s).

  • The lead SEAMEO Centre and Network needs to sign Letter Contract with SEAMEO

Secretariat

  • If the lead SEAMEO Centre and Network has already signed the Letter of Contract with

SEAMEO Secretariat under this scheme, the financial and progress/impact reports of such project must be submitted and endorsed by the SEAMEO Secretariat Director for its quality prior to signing another Letter Contract.
