  8. Demolition Division Services  Dickinson’s Demolition Division was established in 1995  Specialist Demolition Services  Mechanised demolition techniques  Heavy industrial and confined space demolition services.  Fleet of 15 Brokk Demolition Machine ranging from Brokk 90 to 330  15 ton Excavator

  9. Why Brokk  Improved safety.  Improved productivity.  Reduced exposure to labour cost increases.  Increased skills development of labour force.  Change in workforce demographic.  Safe and ergonomic, RRC allows the operator to move away from the hazardous zone.  Fast and agile, more power in a smaller package.  Wide range of unique flexible tools.  Compact design allows work in confine spaces.  Boom geometry allows stable work at heights.  Equipped with an experienced operator and a qualified Millwright, thus ensuring minimal or no standing time.

  12. Underground Brokk Mining Services  Abutment or dyke mining (tunnel through unsafe ground conditionsremotely).  Scalping of pillars (remote drilling, rock splitting and hammering).  Rehabilitation of old abandon tunnels and fall of ground clean ups.  Support drilling in confined spaces.  Scaling and secondary breaking at the developing face.  Sludge dam and shaft bottom cleaning.  Removal and installing of sump pumps.

  13. Underground Brokk Mining Services Cont.  Secondary breaking.  Shaft bottom loading.  Installing water and air pipes.  Installing ring set support.  Non explosive fracturing (remote rock splitting and hammering, barring).  Cross-cut / Haulage vamping.  Able to travel in trackless environment.  Old Gold Extraction.  Silo Cleaning.

  14. Mining Applications Ground breaking power , increased safety and a wide range of unique flexible tools takes mining work to a new level.

  20. Support Completion

  21. Vamping of old abandoned Cross Cuts Too many if not all X/cuts that is not in use anymore are abandoned not realizing the amount of old gold that can still be recovered through the vamping process. Vamping of X/cuts/Haulages is a perfect way to boost the bottom line concerning gold output.

  22. Haulage Vamping

  23. Cross Cut Vamping

  24. Benefits of Cross-Cut / Haulage Vamping using the Brokk  Fast and Efficient.  Loosening of compact mud on footwall.  No human factor exposed to poor ground conditions.  Operator standing in a safe area.  Brokk Machine is effective in breaking and removing large obstacles.  Brokk Machine removes rails, pipes etc. in order to get to the gold bearing material.  Cost Effective and safe operation.

  25. Silo Cleaning: Typical Problems  Substances kept in bulk storage silos generally attract moisture which eventually causes the material to bind and adhere to the walls or form clumps, consequently resulting in blockages of the valve outlets and build-up along the sidewalls and the base of the vessel. 25

  26. Silo Cleaning: Cardox Blasts  Cardox tubes are filled with liquid carbon dioxide. When energized by the application of a small electrical charge, the chemical heater instantly converts the liquid carbon dioxide to a gas expanding the CO 2 and building up pressure until the rapture disk at the end of the tube bursts, this releases the CO 2 now 600 times it original volume. A special discharge nozzle is employed. 26

  27. Silo Cleaning: Brokk Machines When? How? Silos that are not covered Install a Brokk hanging from a or with an opening big crane and slowly letting it down enough to let a Brokk in. on the product. Benefits:  The conveyors or feed system below can run while the machine is inside the Silo and the uninterrupted extraction can continue.  No human entry in confined space whilst in operation 27
