The goal of the process is for the developer to work with PRCR staff, the Park and Recreation Commission, SPRC members, and interested Metropolitan Park residents to identify and assess the community’s recreati reationa onal needs ds and interes rests ts at that at time e and make revisions to the park’s design, or reaffirm the existing desig ign through the data and feedback from the above interested parties… Department of Parks and Recreation 4 May 26, 2016

PDSP CONDITION FROM MET PARK 3 ( FEBRUARY 2009 ) …The process shall allow for changes to be made to the origin inal al design n and d uses prescribed cribed for the park rk space e in the e Metr etropolit opolitan an Park rk Design n Guidel delin ines es (dated January 23, 2004 and approved by the County Board on February 10, 2004), including, if deem emed ed appropri ropriat ate e by y the e public ic pro roces cess, the inclusion of more active recreational uses and amenities in that portion of the park associated with Phase 6. The public planning process may be initiated upon filing of the Metropolitan Park Phase 6 final site plan and shall be completed prior to approval by the County Board of the Phase 6 final site plan. If, as a result of the public planning process, revisions are recommended to the park’s design, the revisions shall be incorporated into a revised conceptual design for that portion of the central park associated with Metropolitan Park Phase 6, which shall be approved as part of the final site plan for Phase 6.
