We give the children the opportunity to experience Christianity and understand what it is to be a Christian. We do study other religions such as Judaism in RE lessons and celebrate different festivals e.g. Diwali in assemblies.

We believe education involves the whole community

Parents will always be welcome at Lymington Infants.

Music

• Coffee and a chat every Thursday
• One to one discussions – behavior,

sleeping, how to help at home…

• Cluster sessions – anxiety, coping

with change…

Family Support Worker

Sunshine club

• Runs every morning from 7:45
• Provides a breakfast
• Activities such as drama, running

and reach up

After school clubs

• Recorder, Multi-sports, Reach up, Cooking, Football, Gym, Dance…
• Little Dolphins Pre school run an after school club until 5:45 for reception children
• Lymington Junior School provide child care until 6pm as well as holiday clubs

Transition to Year R

Autumn when they start:

• Continued home visits
• Staggered entry
• Induction meeting after the first few

weeks Summer before they start:

• Teachers visit the preschools
• Evening meeting for new parents
• Three classroom visits
• Start home visits
