ESage

Year-round, tuition based program that runs after school, all day Fridays, school breaks and over the summer.

  • Break students into age appropriate groups.
  • Strives to enrich students education and lives through experiences

most of which take place in the community. Ex. Otdoor Activities- (skiing, Hiking), Visiting historical sites (Idaho City, Celebration Park) Volunteerism (Rake up Boise), and "Fun" Park play... activities geared to age appropriateness.

Specialized Enrichment

Enrichment After School

  • These programs are 4 - 8 week sessions,immediately after

school and occasionally on Fridays.

  • Activities include Creative Writing Workshops, Solar Go

Kart, Zero Robotics, Bogus Basin and many more.

Specialized Enrichment

Outdoor Trips

  • Outdoor program consists of overnight trips and tuition-based

extended day trips over our fall break, spring break and summer break.

  • Past trips include Canyonlands and Arches National Park,

Yellowstone, and the Oregon Coast. Grades 5-12

Activities & Clubs

  • Currently there are 20 different opportunities for Sage students to

take part in. Chess Club, Mountain Bike team/club, Junior Naturalists, Scouting, Frisbee Golf, running clubs, etc. Tables set up where some are represented.

  • Some of these clubs are student lead while others are managed by

adult volunteers.

Inquiry education allows for individualized learning

  • pportunities.

Engaging curriculum that emphasizes intellectual rigor and critical thinking/problem solving skills development. Standards based grading system--No Traditional letter grades--teachers provide timely and accurate feedback to enhance learning. Students have opportunity to engage in independent practice, with feedback and support, to shape their own learning.

SAT Results: Sage International’s three 11th Grade classes have scored in the top 5% of Idaho students each year. In 2015 and 2016, Sage International ranked 3rd out of Idaho’s approximately 200 high schools in SAT scoring. In 2017, Sage International ranked 11th.

PISA 2016 (Programme for International Student Assessment)

  • standardizes and evaluates academic results of thousands of schools in
  • ver 70 countries providing insight into how Sage students perform

academically compared to US schools and internationally.

  • taken by 15 year olds across the globe.
  • In 2016, 54 Sage students participated in the PISA exam.
  • Sage students scored in the top 7-10% of US schools in all three testing

areas - math, reading and science.

  • Sage’s results are scored as ‘significantly above’ US averages, the highest

rating category.

  • Internationally, Sage students scored on level with students in the

highest performing regions in the world (Shanghai China, Korea, Japan).
