Our Mission
In partnership with students, parents and the community, CMIT will attain educational excellence by providing a rigorous and technology-integrated education for middle and high school students with an emphasis on mathematics, science, and information technologies.
Our Vision
The vision of CMIT is to provide multiple opportunities for Prince George’s County youth to prepare for post-secondary education in a variety of Dields of study in order to pursue professional careers. CMIT will enable all students to achieve their maximum potential by equipping and empowering them with analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.

Back to School Night After the flurry of our first-week activities are now behind us, it's time for our parents to come in for — Back-to-School Night. CMIT has back to school nights scheduled as follows: all will run from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm: September 2, 2014: 6 Grade September 3, 2014: 7 and 8th Grade September 4, 2014: 9 and 10th Grade This is your chance to visit some classrooms, meet your scholars teachers, and find out more about the
- curriculum. Student schedules will be available upon arrival. Please make sure to ask your scholar what
college they belong to. This will make the process mush quicker and easier to follow. Back to School Night is always a wonderful evening and I look forward to seeing all of you. We have a lot
- f information to share with you on this night. The Parent Task Force will have a table and information
about clubs and teams will also be available for parents and guardians. A lot of new and great things are available this year. Don't miss out. Natiqua Riley Assistant Principal

SUMMARY OF UNIFORM POLICY
- Embroidered CMIT school logo is required for all top options: Regular School days: Middle School
students have royal blue and orange polo shirts, High School students have gold or purple polo shirts.
- Pants/shorts/skirts must be either medium dark khaki or solid navy blue in color. All pants and shorts
must have belt loops, and a black solid belt must be worn through all the loops and fastened
- appropriately. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
Shorts may be worn ONLY during Summer dates: from the first day of school through October 31st and from April 1st through the last day of school.
- Shoes must be all black with no other color. On PE days, students may have any color tennis shoes.
- Socks: Plain navy blue, white, orange or black.
- PE days: Students have safari blue CMIT PE shirt and navy blue SOLID shorts/sweat pants
- Field trip/assembly days: CMIT’s white oxford shirts and tie
- Casual days: On the pre-announced casual days, eligible students may wear any clothing that is in
compliance with the PGCPS uniform code.

- CMIT parents and staff have established a PTO which will help sponsor and support different
activities or events.
