A gap exists in the higher education curriculum around supporting community based learning experiences for students in intercultural environments. Further understanding is required of how students’ dispositions will affect the extent of their learning.
How can the agentic qualities of a diverse student population be effectively promoted and engaged to assist them to secure global perspectives through their intercultural community based experiences?
Three sub-questions contribute to this research question:

January – June 2015 Curriculum mapping of all Australian university course offerings to identify explicit foci on ‘local/global perspectives’ through ‘service learning’ experiences July - December 2015 Case studies Jan - June 2016 Data analysis. Working symposiums in Sydney (April) and Singapore (June). Jul-August 2016 Disseminate created resources including interactive e-book of curriculum ‘good practice’ and ‘good learning’ guide to engaging students with global perspectives.
