  • In the short term, the LRG wishes to:

 Enhance regional participation in research networks  Establish a flagship activity on soil carbon  Enhance collaboration with international partners and clarify relationship with GACSA  Ensure widespread engagement in ERA-NET multi-partner call and support the GRA develop a joint funding mechanism  Further increase the profile of the LRG and its achievements

  • In the long term, the LRG aspires to:

 Be a recognised, authoritative global source of expertise and collaborative research hub  Realise our research potential and maximise participation from all member countries through a robust, flexible and enduring set of resourcing approaches  Increase the regional scope and engagement in capability building  Continue to strengthen links with industry and other international partners
