What to expect: February 28: 2019-2020 Curriculum Guide will be emailed to you through Naviance ● and posted on Suncoast’s website. ➢ Refer to your program’s 4 year plan ➢ Find out more about classes through teachers and friends ➢ Have a conversation with your parents ➢ Ask your counselor questions March 11-14: Come with your VPS/Gov class to meet individually with your ● counselor. At the end of this meeting, your counselor will print your course selection and you will bring it home to get signed by a parent before returning it. March 26 & 27: Your signed course selection sheet is due back to your VPS/Gov ● teacher.

What do you need to decide as an incoming 11th grade IB student? Appropriate IB Math ● Course IB Science Course ● ● Appropriate World Language course ½ Year Elective ● ● IB Elective
What do you need to decide as an incoming 11th grade CS student? ● Appropriate Math Course ● Physics 1 Honors or AP Physics 1 ● Decide if you are continuing World Language course or choose an AP Elective ● AP US History or US History Honors
What do you need to decide as an incoming 11th grade IIT student? ● AP US History or US History Honors ● Appropriate Math Course ● Science course ● Decide if you are continuing World Language course or choose an AP Elective ● Economics ● ½ year Elective
What do you need to decide as an incoming 11th grade MSE student? ● Economics ● Decide if you are continuing World Language course or choose an AP Elective ● 1 AP or Fine Arts Elective
Program Add Ons MSE and CS students can choose to add: IBDP or AP Capstone certificate. IIT students can choose to add: IBDP, AP Capstone certificate, or also have the option of adding the IBCP program. March 4: IBDP Course Selection Night Theatre 6:30pm
