– Media Center – Science Classrooms (grades 6-8) – STEAM Lab – Cafeteria – Auditorium – Secure Entry – Office, Guidance, Nurse Suite – HVAC Controlled Temperature (AC)

Lehighton School District Middle School Building Design and Budget

▪ LEED Project

– Energy Efficiency (Electric, Water, Light and Fuel) – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Building

▪ ACE Grant

– 1.5 million dollars toward project cost

▪ ESCO

– Guaranteed Energy Savings ($80,000 per year between the high school and middle school)

▪ QZAB

– 0.25% interest on $8.5 million dollars of the borrowing (Partnership with NEF)
