Paying for the Pandemic

The district will borrow funds from our reserves to cover these additional costs. All costs will be tracked as COVID related and once a reimbursement mechanism is available, we will apply for such. As many of these costs as possible will be purchased through BOCES, so aid will be available next year. Transportation costs should be reimbursed next year as well. Regardless of how we are paying for these added expenses, keep in mind, we cannot exceed our approved annual budget.
