School districts shall provide an array of learning opportunities for gifted/talented students in kindergarten through Grade 12 and shall inform parents of the
(1) instructional and organizational patterns that enable identified students to work together as a group, to work with other students, and to work independently; (2) a continuum of learning experiences that leads to the development of advanced-level products and performances; (3) in-school and, when possible, out-of-school options relevant to the student's area of strength that are available during the entire school year; and (4) opportunities to accelerate in areas of strength.

Advanced Learning Course Pathways for GT learners
International Baccalaureate Diploma Advanced Placement (AP) courses- AP Capstone Dual Credit Other GT Endeavors: NHS, Spanish NHS, French NHS, German NHS,
Science NHS, Math NHS, Computer Science NHS, Art NHS, UIL, SAT Ambassadors, Decathlon/Octathlon, Coding Club, Orchestra, Band, Choir, Theater, Dance, Mariachi, DECA, DI, Debate, HOSA, Robotics, All sports.
❖ Courses meet High School requirements, while at the same time giving them college credit ❖ Courses are taught by Lone Star college faculty or college-approved high school instructors meeting the same standards and requirements of regularly employed college faculty ❖ Courses meet Texas Common Core requirements and are transferable to public colleges or universities in the state of Texas ❖ Academic and Workforce courses are available
