Kelowna � United � FC M ission: • The Kelowna United Football Club is a not-for-profit organization within the Central Okanagan Y outh Soccer Association that provides opportunities for youth to play competitive level youth soccer in British Columbia. Technical � Director • Role and Responsibilities • Provide T echnical Direction to the Clubs KUFC, TOFC, PCL • Enact the KUFC Business Plan on behalf of the Board of Directors. • Hire or select coaches and assistant coaches • Provide modern Training T echniques • Coordinate coaches training • Hire Assistant T echnical Directors • Communicate with BCSA Technical Directors • Coordinate Summer Camps • Coordinate Academies • Answers to the Board of Directors

Coaches • Can be a hired Coach or Parent Coach. • Role and Responsibilities • Lead the players, and coach the team. • Coaches are subject to BCS A Disciplinary Policy. • Coaches are also subject to KUFC Disciplinary Policy. • TOYSL - M inimum CCY Certification for Provincials • Y – League – Recommended minimum Pre-B. • PCL – Pre-B Recommended • Answers to the Technical Director

Parents KUFC encourages all parents or guardians: • to participate in all social aspects of the team’s development, • to participate as a supporter in all games, • to encourage all players to play in a sporting way, with enthusiasm and love for the game. • T o avoid contacting coaches when discussing game tactics or team decisions, • T o allow referees to interpret the rules of the game, and allow officials to adjudicate the games without intimidation.

  15. Parents Disputes: • If disputes arise, an Incident Form is to be submitted to the Board. No phone calls, long emails or on-field arguments. • The T echnical Director and the KU Discipline Chair will examine or file all Incident Forms as they arise. • Role and Responsibilities • Parents are NOT subject to BCS A Disciplinary Policy. • Parent ARE subject to KUFC Disciplinary Policy. Cost Selects KUFC Fee - ~$600 Typical Additional Team Costs • $600 per Player • Tournaments $200 cheque by 3 rd Tryout • • Additional Practices • $200 by December 1 • • $200 by February 1 Exhibitions (referees only) • Includes: • Bags/ Shorts/ Socks • Administration • Practice Jerseys • COYSA/BCSA Fees • Insurance • Warm-Up Suits • League referees • 2 practices per week • League Games • T echnical Direction • Game Equipment / Balls • Jerseys • T eam Photo • fields April 15 to June.
