Transitioning period

  • New board elected on 3rd of September 2018.
  • First major task was to establish trust and getting to know each other.
  • First Major Project on the Agenda was to arrange the food festival
  • Got A lot of help from the Ex members particularly Sam, Matt and Lish.

Planning overview & total cost

  • Weekly meetings held mostly at the student accommodation instead of the office provided at the university.
  • Tasks divided according to preferences.
  • Food festival 2018 a big success as 2000 coupons were sold and approxmately 700 people came to attend the event.
  • Advertisement done through, social media, flyers posters.
  • 15 Teams participated with 4-5 in each team.
  • Budget for each team NOK 750.
  • Prizes distributed by the ISU board for multiple categories like Best taste award, best presentation etc.
  • Total money spent approximately NOK 12,661.

Goals

  • To bring spare activities according to the

season and the possibilities in Norway.

  • To explore Volda and its surroundings.
  • To offer free workshops that complete

the students academic experience and possibilities.

  • To follow the campaign in support for the

international students such as the one for non-european students last Spring.

  • As a general goal we’d like to keep forging

the international exchange with the Norwegian society.
