The purpose of the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational
Progress Plus (ISTEP+) program is to measure student achievement in the subject areas of English/Language Arts and Math. Science is assessed in grades 4 and 6. In particular, ISTEP+ reports student achievement based on current Indiana State Standards.

part B.
Multiple Correct Response Questions- For this type of question,
students will select two or more correct answers.
Drag and Drop Questions- This type of question is used when
evidence of understanding calls for the selection and arrangement of content.
Select Text Questions- With this type of question, students select
evidence in context.
Matching Questions- This type of question asks for series of
individual selected responses in a table format.
Equation and Expression Entry Questions- This type of question
asks students to create their own numeric answers with expressions or equations.
Graph Lines Question- With this type of question, students graph
lines on a coordinate grid.
Plot Points Question- With this type of question, students plot
points on a graph.

Indiana Reading Evaluation And Determination (IREAD) Assessment IREAD-3 , based on Indiana Academic Standards, is a summative assessment that measures foundational reading standards through grade three.
All questions are multiple choice and will be taken in paper/pencil format.
