We would like to work hand in hand with the EC on increasing our contribution to the organization • Formalize the role of the WPC YP Committee in the organization governance (incl. EC, CPC and Secretariat) and finalize election guidelines Governance • Guidelines to support the achievement of the Youth & Gender VP objectives • Support to increase our footprint and engage new National Committees • Leverage the feedback from the YP Committee and contribute to Future of the Council • Get guidance and approval for the launching of our projects with full alignment with the World Petroleum Council strategy Initiatives • Officially launch the 2017-2020 Mentoring program with the support of EC and Secretariat • Build on the legacy of the Rio Future Leaders Forum for the next World Petroleum Council Youth Forum and the continuation of the regional Tomorrow ’ s Leadership Symposium
WPC Young Professionals Committee gathers the representatives nominated by their National Committees YPC IS PART OF WPC ORGANIZATION YP ORGANIZATION • They elect within themselves the Chair and Council Vice-Chair of the YPC at the Congress (National Committees) • The YPC Chair is member of the CPC and works closely with the Vice President Youth & Gender Executive • They are accountable for presenting Committee roadmaps and results of their initiatives once a year to the Council meeting NOMINATIONS BY NC WPC Secretariat • Representatives are nominated by their National Committees • NC can nominate two young professionals Congress Nominations Young Professionals per country : a representative and an alternate. Programme Committee (NC) Committee (YPC) Both should be under the age of 35 . Committee (CPC) • The nomination is for the next three-year cycle, nominations to WPC secretariat first half 2017 would allow representatives to meet in Istanbul.
