Form Designer Module

❖ The Form Designer module is used for creating Electronic Data

Entry Form.

❖ It contains all the necessary Field Types for building form questions. ❖ The form can consist of one page or many pages depending upon

the number of questions in the form.

❖ Different customizations such as conditional skip patterns, data

validation, and custom calculations can applied.

❖ Multiple forms can be created in the same project file. ❖ The form can also be transferred to Android device for mobile data

collection.

❖ You can create, save and use Template for quick building of the

questions.

These Analysis module can analyze data from two sources:

❖ Data entered in Epi Info Project. ❖ Data from other sources (Access, Excel, Sql etc).

Classical Analysis Module

Continuation of the analysis module of the older version of epi info 3.5.x.

Command driven point and click analysis.

❖

As the command is run, its codes are added to the program editor.

❖

These analysis codes can be customized, saved, shared, and re-used for revised and further analysis.

• Visual dashboard is new analysis tool for Epi Info-7.
• The characteristic feature of the dashboard is the

Analysis Gadgets.

• Analysis Gadgets are square or rectangular shaped
• bjects which contains analysis results i.e., frequencies,

tables, means, charts etc.

• These gadgets are placed on the work space which is

called Dashboard Canvas.

• The whole dashboard along with gadgets can be saved

and reloaded and exported to Excel, Word or HTML format.

 When a Project in created in Epi Info-7, it

 Within the folder, two files are

created having same name. 1- Prj file 2- mdb file

Epi Info-7 Data Storage

Two Database Storage Systems can be used in Epi Info-7.

• 1. Microsoft Access Database (Standalone System)
• 2. Microsoft SQL server (Network System)

Microsoft Access. ➢ The data file has to open through Epi Info program.
