The ENIL – National Dairy Industry Schools

A network of 6 National Dairy Schools called ENIL 2000 students and 900 graduates/year 30 certifying training and teaching courses for the food industry From GCSE-level up to Master With higher education (Bachelors and Masters) in partnership with universities and the CNAM ("National Conservatory of Arts and Trades") (Agrosup Dijon – ENSAIA Nancy – AgroParisTech - University of Grenoble – ESIX Caen – University of Normandie – IESIEL – University of Franche Comté – University of La Rochelle …) and the CNAM.

Further Education in the Dairy sector in France

About 80% of employees have training per year (45 000 trainees - 16 hours average) Short training courses : Training/ Refresher course of one or more days. Examples : ANFOPEIL training courses in French and AEDIL courses in English in the ENIL schools. Diploma courses "Certificate of Professional Qualification" (Fr:CQP) developed by the dairy sector for very specific professional specialties and the recruiting needs which are not covered by other diploma–level courses. Principle: "Sandwich courses", alternating between practical training on-the-job with a tutor and theory classes in classrooms. Skills are evaluated and validated by a jury. Some examples: : CQP Dairy pickup/deliveryman CQP Technician/adviser in dairy transformation CQP Operator of automated dairy transformation machines…
