Letter of Intent...

The letter of intent is submitted by you to indicate your interest in pursuing this opportunity for the upcoming spring/summer session. Keep in mind:

  • this letter expresses your intent to formally pursue this
  • pportunity.
  • you do not have to have site confirmation to hand this

It is also a tool used by me to:

  • determine your eligibility to participate
  • gather information on the approximate number of

interested students and locations of potential sites The letter of intent is available on D2L and is due to me on

  • r before October 31 to the ECS drop box

to accept you as an internship student

slide-15
SLIDE 15

Connect and Confirm: Important dates

Internships must be confirmed and connected to me by no later than Friday, December 13, 2019

slide-16
SLIDE 16

Why the early deadline?

Each site must enter into a legal agreement with Ryerson and this takes time considering factors such as:

  • language and time differences
  • ther competing demands on your site
  • negotiations that may need to be made

If we do not have a legal agreement established, you cannot use the site. You are therefore strongly encouraged to contact sites that we already have agreements with (see D2L for list of sites with current legal agreements)
