Media Reports Media Reports about Water about Waterloo loo Engineering Engineering
- Adjustment Factors are subtracted from every applicant’s admission average
- The adjustment factor for Turner Fenton Secondary School was 18.2 in 2018.
This is slightly higher than the Ontario average adjustment factor of 16.1 in 2018. What does the Adjustment Factor mean? Media reports and discussions tend to focus on the Adjustment Factor as an indicator of grade inflation or other factors related to teaching or school policy. We do not support that interpretation, and we have no evidence that the factors are useful or relevant outside of our narrow focus on Waterloo Engineering admissions.
