Before you visit
To ensure your visit is as smooth as possible, complete the checklist below.
Booking confirmed with Odds Farm. Final balance ready to pay upon arrival at Odds Farm. Prepare students for their visit to the farm by presenting slide- show to class. This could be the first time many have visited a rural setting. Download Teacher Resources from our website. Here you will find ideas and resources on possible topics. Your visit to Odds Farm could be used to support the National Curriculum.
Getting here
For those travelling by coach, please be aware there is a width restriction on a possible route to the farm. If you are coming from the A355, please re-route via the A40 and Broad Lane towards Wooburn Common. Odds Farm Park is clearly sign-posted from the road; do not follow signs for Odds Farm Estate. For SatNav, please use postcode HP10 0LX. Alternatively, download our printable Directions to Odds Farm Park, found on the website. Odds Farm Park is located near to Junction 2

On the day of the visit
- Arrival- you will be met in the Car Park by a member of our team who
will direct you towards the entrance. Here you will be greeted by another team member who will give you a short introductory talk. After this talk, the day will be yours to enjoy. You can follow our timetable of animal activities, or dip-in-and-out should you wish.
- On arrival, please visit the team in the Gift Shop. Here you will be able
to settle the balance, and collect any animal feed you have ordered. Your students will have plenty of opportunities to learn through interacting with our animals and using our extensive indoor and outdoor play areas. However, if you want to add more emphasis to education during your visit, please see the Resources section of our website.
On the day of the visit
- Should First Aid or assistance be required during your visit,
please contact the nearest member of staff, or go the Gift Shop.
- The team member who greets you will discuss with you where
you can leave children’s lunchboxes and where you can picnic for lunch.

When you arrive at the farm you will be greeted by a team member who knows all about the Farm and can answer any questions you may have. Make sure you are listening to the important information they will tell you.

After you meet the animals, you must wash your hands. Why must you wash your hands?

You will bring a packed lunch with you to the farm. Make sure you use a bin to help keep the Farm tidy.

As well as meeting the animals, there will also be time for play at the farm. If the weather is good, you may also go on the Tractor and Trailer ride.
