INES as a University of Applied Sciences

  • In 2008, a research to analyze the position of

HLIs in relation to the labor market needs.

  • Results: a big discrepancy between academic

products and the labor market needs.

  • Biggest issue not really with offered programs

but the way they way offered

  • After consulting with stakeholders and experts

from the Netherlands and Germany, the concept

  • f University of Applied Sciences was adopted

in 2010 as the solution.
