Troop, Team, Crew & Ship Leaders: Outgoing Scouts Need an accurate listing of all awards, ranks, and recognitions for their New Unit / New Council. It is the responsibility of the “losing" unit to give it to the Scout's adult family member. Use the BSA "Transfer Form" as a Transfer of Record not Registration. Official Advancement Records are maintained at Council. To be recorded, ANY AND ALL must be submitted by the Unit leader AND NO ONE ELSE . Units are to submit advancements and recognitions on a Unit Advancement Report immediately after activity completion. Do not wait for the recognition presentation. A report should be submitted at least monthly, even if only one Scout is listed. ADVANCEMENT
