- Redefinition of a ‘Close Contact’
○ Redefined as ‘anyone with or without a face covering who was within 6 feet of a confirmed case of Covid 19 for at least 15 minutes throughout the course of a day. ○ The period of close contact begins two calendar days before the onset of symptoms.
- Expectations for COVID-like symptoms for students and staff
○ All students and staff must be sent home with Covid-like symptoms and must be diagnostically tested and remain at home until test results are received (sore throat, headache, runny nose, cough, and so on)
- Definition of an ‘Outbreak’ in a school
○ Two confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections occurring within 14 calendar days of each
- ther in individuals in the same classroom would meet the case definition for an
- utbreak.

- The definition of a wall intended to subdivide a large space (ex.
gym/fieldhouse/cafe)
- Local Health Department school metrics indented to further

- Monday - Wednesday (8/17-8/19) - All students will follow the Wednesday
Schedule ○ Focus on relationship building & instructional technology
- Thursday - Friday (8/20 - 8/21) - All students begin Remote 2.0 Schedule
- Week of August 24 - Students follow Remote 2.0 schedule until further notice
- All students who selected the online option will be re-enrolled in their
- riginal District 86 courses
- R3 Committee will reconvene and will provide the BOE an update on 8/27
