ITU-D Study Groups’ Mandate

  • There are Study Group 1 & 2 (2014-17) in ITU-D

Sector.

  • ITU-D Study Groups are responsible for

developing Reports, Guidelines, and Recommendations based on input received from the membership. Information is gathered through surveys, contributions and case studies. Case study library is built on the ITU-D website to collect CS on line from membership.

  • SG1: Enabling environment for the development of

telecommunications/ ICTs. Chair Person: Mrs. Roxanne MCelvane (FCC, USA)

  • SG2: ICT applications, cybersecurity, emergency

telecommunications and climate-change adaptation. Chair Person: Dr. Ahmad Reza SHARAFAT (Iran)
