Junior Privileges Current Proposal:
- Juniors will be given the option to arrive at 9:00am if they have a first period
study (7:33 - 9:01), or leave campus at 1:00 if they have a last period study (1:01 - 1:55)
- Juniors may not leave school during any other study period
- Juniors would have to be academically eligible, have no major disciplinary
issues, and must obtain their parent/guardians permission

How Is This Different From Senior Privileges?
Junior Privileges:
- Opt in
- Only first and last period
- Trial run
Seniors Privileges:
- Opt out
- Any period student does not have
class, including lunch
- Permanent

Possible Pros of Junior Privileges:
- Allow students to catch up on rest
- Lower school congestion
- Reduce strains on studies and possibly even return them to classrooms
- Provide upperclassmen with more freedoms/responsibilities in preparation for
college and life after high school
- More incentive to stay academically eligible and out of trouble
- This is only a trial… see if it works!
