ٍۭ ريِثَـم نَع ْأوُفۡعَيَو ۡمُليِدۡيَأ ۡتَبَسَم اَمِبَف ٍۭ ةَبيِصِّم نِّم مُڪَبٰـَصَأ ٓاَمَو

“And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much.”

[Ash-Shura 42:30]

The 4 men who came to Hasan al-Basri:

• 1. Lack of rains
• 2. Poverty & hunger
• 3. Want for a son
• 4. No fruits in the garden

“I said (to them): Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance. And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”

[Surah Nuh 71:10-12]

• If fornication should become widespread, you should realize that this has never

happened without new diseases befalling the people which their forebears never suffered.

• If people should begin to cheat in weighing out goods, you should realize that this has

never happened without drought and famine befalling the people, and their rulers

• ppressing them.

• If people should withhold Zakat, you should realize that this has never happened

without the rain being stopped from falling; and were it not for the animals' sake, it would never rain again.

• If people should break their covenant with Allah & His Messenger, you should realize

that his has never happened without Allah sending an enemy against them to take some of their possessions by force.

• If the leaders do not govern according to the Book of Allah, you should realize that

this has never happened without Allah making them into groups and making them fight one another.

َنۡوُبِسۡلَي أۡوُهاَم اَمِب ۢاًضۡعَب َنۡيِمِلّٱظلأ َضۡعَب ۡىِّلَوُه َكِلٰذَمَو

“And thus We set some wrongdoers on some others because of what they used to commit”

[al-Anaam 6:129]

َنيِقِسٰـَف اًٍۭمۡوَق ْأوُهاَم ۡمُهَْهِإ ۚ ُىوُعاَطَاَف ۥ ُيَمۡوَق َْفَخَجۡس اَف

“Thus he (Fir’aun) fooled (and misled) his people, and they obeyed him. Verily, they were ever a people who were Fasiqun (sinful & disobedient to Allah).”

[az-Zukhruf 43:54]

• Imam Shafi’i said: "I complained to Wakee

about the weakness of my memory. So he

• rdered me to abandon sins. And informed me

that the knowledge is light. And that the light

• f Allah is not given to the sinner."

ُرَبۡمَأ ِيّٱللأ ُرۡمِذَلَو ؕ ِرَلۡوُمۡلأَو ِءٓاَشۡحَفۡلأ ِنَع ىٰهۡوَث َةوٰلَْصلأ َْنِأ

Verily, the prayer prevents from immorality

(indecency) and evil wicked deeds. And the remembering of Allah is greater indeed.

[al-Ankaboot 29:45]
