Why is HS2 and NPR important to LCR?

The Command Paper - Summary for LCR:

  • Manchester Piccadilly HS2 station will

be planned with consideration of NPR plans

  • The Golborne Link is retained,

meaning a potential connection to HS2 and NPR via the link is still on track
