Eligibility - Applicant Registered organisation • Registered alumni organisation from an African-German youth exchange programme or African-German voluntary youth service programme • Registered host or sending organisation (from an African-German youth exchange programme or African-German voluntary youth service programme) • Registered organisation (alumni, sending/host organisation) preparing a project in the context of the African-German youth exchange. In this case a brief description of project idea and name African-German youth organisation foreseen as future partner must be provided. • Registered parent organization for a non-registered alumni organisation 10

Eligibility – Applicant For non-registered youth groups • Apply under a registered parent organisation • Contract will be signed with registered parent organisation Registered parent organisations • Can submit a number of applications for different non-registered youth groups with different proposal titles • Can submit one proposal for their own organisation when they meet all eligibility criteria 11

Application procedure – general information • Web-based • Potential applicants will be provided via email with a link to the application documents. • Language: Choice of English or French. • Documents in Swahili will be available for orientation. However, the application and all its documents have to be in French or English . • Some administrative information has to be entered online. Project proposal, budget, logical framework, work plan are separate documents to be uploaded. 17

Application procedure – general information • Advice • Complete budget, logical framework and work plan before writing the proposal to assure coherence • Check the evaluation grid for guidance to make sure your proposal can score the maximum number of points • Support • Online support: questions can be submitted via e-mail in first 2 weeks after publication of the call • Up to week 3 you will receive answers to your questions 18

  24. Budget template A budget template in Excel is provided. It cannot be shown here, as it would not be legible. Please refer to the distributed print-out. The contractor reserves the right to discuss changes to the proposed budget if required. The budget must be submitted in Excel - not as a PDF or other type of document. If the budget is not submitted as an Excel sheet, the application will be rejected. 24
