- Clinical Commissioning Groups will take on most of the PCTs
current responsibilities
- NHS Commissioning Board will hold CCGs to account
- Public Health England will be created within DoH
– Health Protection – Intelligence and Information – Administer Public Health Grant (including Health Premium)

– Responsible for health improvement and reducing health inequalities – Some treatment services – Oversight of commissioning – Will receive ring fenced Public Health Grant – Must establish Health and Wellbeing Board
