There are different ways to stay safe when using the internet

  • Ask a computer shop to help you

set parental controls on of your devices.

  • Have up to date anti-virus

software (Norton, McAfee)

  • Ask your Internet Service Provider

(ISP) to add ‘Content Filters’, these block some websites

numbers for some websites

  • Passwords can be names, or places
  • PIN numbers are usually 4 numbers,

similar to PIN number for your cash card 1234

Email is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family

  • Sometimes we get emails from

people we don’t know or from companies trying to sell something. This is called SPAM Email

  • If you get an email from someone

you don’t know with a link do not click on it

  • You might get an email from your

Bank asking you for information. This can be spam and you should delete it and then call the bank to check
