The center continues to carry out design and R&D of FRP pipe for use in special applications and to open up new market sector. Hanwei has a team of experienced field service engineers responsible to train, supervise, and qualify pipe jointers whether it is carry out in-house or at site. Hanwei owns and operates a state-of-the-art FRP Research & Engineering Center authorized and accredited by the China government. Hanwei invests 5% of its annual sales turnover in research, product development and testing. The center is able to carry out static and cyclic long-term, medium-term and short-term testing of FRP pipe & fittings and other materials and chemical exposure testing according to international FRP standards and specifications.
