How d does L LIBS tech chnology work?

The surface of the sample is irradiated with a pulsed laser, resulting in a sufficient specific power to vaporize the material to form a plasma.

As the plasma cools, the electrons knocked out of the atoms recombine with atoms, emitting waves in the UV, optical and infrared ranges. Built-in spectrometer analyzes emitted light.

The built-in spectrometer analyzes emitted light by measuring wavelength and intensity (amount) of light.

The built-in software compares the spectral lines of known wavelengths in order to determine which elements are present and, using the built-in calibration system, quantifies the element concentration by line intensity.

The advantages of L Laser analyzer ELANIK:

 Analysis of alloying elements, including C (carbon) without the use of inert gases.  Built-in

in camera – convenient for analyzing a specific location on the sample.

 The ability to measure small samples: the scope of analysis is less than 0.3 mm.  Automatic recognition of

  • f the alloy without user intervention.

 Built-in

in grade – automatic determination of the alloy grade according to the results of the analysis.

 High accuracy of

  • f the results is achieved by averaging over several points.

 Automatic storage of

  • f measurement data in the built-in memory up to 100,000 measurements.

 High reliability – does not contain elements that require replacement or maintenance.  Power: from mains 220V or rechargeable Li-ion batteries.
