  9. Recommendations For HRTPO Board • Consider relative sea level rise/storm surge impacts when selecting future transportation projects. For Military and Supporting Sites • Encourage operators at each site to work with VDOT/Cities/Counties to develop detour plans for potentially submerged “Roadways Serving the Military”. For VDOT, Cities, and Counties • Consider latest projections for relative sea level rise/storm surge when a roadway project is designed. • Conduct further studies to determine impact on drainage systems. 9 / 9
